Once last thing before I go off
Like going overseas like that huh?
Well, its about one hour before I'll get out of my house and head to the place.
Don't know where is it still.
My parents gonna fetch me, they took off-day ._.
I had a religious arguement on whatsapp in one of my cliques convos.
Forgot that I shouldn't get into debates.
unless in certain circumstances.
plus not in the public.
If not ego will come into play.
and you want to win the arguement cause you don't want to lose face
and not that you want to just inform/remind others.
Your intentions get blurred and distorted.
Will try to remember.
Lucky Jiayi was cool-headed in the convo, helped to remind myself.
plus not making it personal.
But its hard.
it gets very personal as your talking about your whole belief/world outlook you know?
but must keep in mind that whoever wins the arguement.
It doesn't matter.
Doesn't change anything.
Anyway.
about 6month of holidays has passed.
WOW.
I want more seriously.
It just taste so gggoooooddd.
Made a mashup before I go for police.
of Where Is The Love by Black Eyed Peas and Price Tag by Jessie J
Took out the lyrics that I found meaningful and mashed it up. =)
As usual in the private domain.

(note: Gonna leave the uploading to my brother as I don't have enough time, so I don't know exactly whether the upload will be fine)

Life keeps getting better and better
Last Friday. I got a shock.
Just when I'm about to go ns.
Not that I'm complaining.
I had to sit on the floor to absorb the fact that my dad bought it for fun.
for fun.
and he wanted to learn.
Thanked him like...hahahahaha. yea.
------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll end this off with what I learnt today. =)
Jealousy&Envy
these naturally leads hatred.
When you're jealous/envious of someone,
you feel&think that you should deserve what another is having
or another should not deserve what they have
or that you should have it instead
So...in a way, you're thinking that you're better than the person.
You're no better than the person, you're of equal standing essentially no matter what social standing, how rich you are, popular you are. blablabla.
Anyway, if you deserved what the other person have, you'd have gotten it anyway.
So don't think you deserve what others get, you only deserve what you get.
From a muslim's perspective, it'll be objecting to Allah's allotment of bounties.
You? think you can judge better than the One who created you?
& Jealousy itself is a punishment.
You will forever continue to compare in whatever sense.
Lose joy in the pleasures of life.
Plus it wouldn't reduce the bounties the person you're jealous with has.
That's all for today.
Nights!
note: It is hard to stop thinking that you're not better than others.
This ego. it has to be extinguished.
Went to Muslim Convert's Association Library after my Friday prayers to increase my knowledge.
Prayed and read the Quran, also books that commented on the Arabic chapters.
so that I understand the translation of the chapters and the context and lessons learnt behind every chapter!
Well, I was feeling Zen & happy after visiting the library and devouring enough info
so I bought like $10+ of pastries for my family?
Money's supposed to be spent and not hoarded. ;)
Don't worry I try to give charity daily too.
The more you give for charity, the more wealth you'll have.
Trying to keep that in mind.
Went back home
& my dad brought something home too.......
......

The stars tonight are beautiful
I'm sorry.
Not that it means any thing to you people out there.
But I just want to apologise.
If I have been imposing any thoughts on you people.
Anyway, one of my friend say my blog damn boring.
So I don't really have to care whether people are reading
people probably get bored and sleep. =)
And hearing my cover.
My ear really hurts. alamak. so bad. =/
------
Just gonna blog what I learnt today at class. =)
The nature of man is to forget, to fall into lapses.
Everyone falls at a certain point of time.
So, something to avoid is to preach.
Cause it is indeed hard to practise what you preach as there will be times where you fall and forget.
and thus you'd fall into hypocrisy.
Hence, you should preach lesser of what you practise.
Or even better just remind beautifully.
I mean this as when you remind someone that he/her should do something else than what she is doing,
don't put him/her down, don't point out the negative flaws or short-comings of him/her, raise him/her up.
Let's take an example.
Instead of asking one to stop bullying and that it is bad.
In essence you're actually saying that you are good and thus better than him.
You're putting him/her down, to raise yourself up.
You could instead tell him/her that you feel/know that he/she is better than this and should not be doing this.
Raise him/her up to an equal or even higher standing than you.
Just for the sake of helping her.
Learnt more but time is running short, dad's gonna off the internet soon.
Went to Avengers with Novia!
was an AWESOME MOVIE. WORTH IT!
WWWWWOOOOOOOOOO
Next week. sian.
No more of this Life of ease that I have. =(

Waoh. The new blogger posting layout is weird man.
Not used it.
Anyway, had so much, blogged so little.
Filling my days quite fruitfully i guess with only one more plus more week to NS.
NNNNooOOOOOooooOOOooo
shit.
Hahahahaa, I'll just make the full use of my police days.
Anyway, my aunt as you may know stays with me now?
And she's a cook?
So....
Hahahahahhaa, good food for dinner.
yes.
She messages my brothers the menu so....
The day before yesterday I had baked cheese pasta?
then today I had....erm...
grilled rosemary chicken w mushroom sauce and creamy fettucine.
yea.
LOL.
so good food.
A test of ease.
Well I won't post much about my past daily activities but will post about last thursday,
so it seems that I'm in the mood for blogging!
Went East Coast Park with Safiah to rollerblade!
& no, she's just a friend. Went rollerblading with Novia not long ago too. =)
Anyway, I improved quite alot! Can now rollerblade with ease at times! =D
Glad that I didn't fall this time as well!
Next time I have a girlfriend one of the places I'd definetely bring her is the beach.
It's an awesome place.
Its nice have sand and water roll over your feet to and fro as you stand there looking out at the sea.
absolutely great.
Having the sea breeze, able to reflect and talk in peace or not even talk and relax
A great place.
Gardens with rivers flowing are cool too. =)
No, I'm not from SP.
Yes, I still wear guards to protect my beautiful self.
& yes Chinese eyes.
Next time when I'm older I hope to go to all this natural places of interest!
and not some artificial or man-made place of interest!
Anyway when I was there I got this msg -.-
Went to my usual class after that. =)
Today I'm having baked cheese pasta again.
OUH THE CHEESE. =D
Not used it.

I've been on this journey for awhile.& it was actually sparked off by my parents fighting.
due to a difference opinion in religion.
My mum's I guess a christian now..
& my dad's a muslim..
"Most estimates range from as low as 10 million to as high as 100 million Muslims in China. However the figure of 25 million Muslims seems more plausible."
http://islaminchina.wordpress.com/islam-in-china-faq/
Just breaking the idea that islam = malays / malays = islam
In wiki the estimate is 20 million.
Islam is also estimated to be the 2nd largest religion in Europe
and 15% of Arabs are muslims, 1/7 of the whole muslim population?
Anyway, my point is Islam is a universal religion.
in 120 different countries.
I feel like I'm on the right path.
I hope I'm on the right path.
If I'm not on the right path, at least I'm on my way to the path, I think.
if Allah wills.
Well. I feel like I've become a much better person...
and that's a good start no?
I've been using two sources.
Ustazas(teachers) at the Muslim Convert's Association, Darul-Arqam
&
www.bayyinah.com
I really want to thank this teacher, Ustaz Saif-ur-Rahman/Juana Manis.
Respect him loads! =)
He's been a great help in my journey of being a better Muslim.
which already encompasses the meaning of a better person
as two commitments that a person should have is to serve Allah and serve his creations (society as a whole)
His background is stunning. absolutely stunning.
but shall not comment about it here, if you're interested can always ask me in person. =)
This is his fb fanpage, hahahahah. http://www.facebook.com/alchemyofhippieness
You wont be able to find his own profile page. =)
& in bayyinah.com I go through podcasts!
They are mp3s free for download on the surahs(chapters)
of the Quran!
So the Ustaz in the mp3s will go through the word-by-word analysis of the chapters, the context behind the surah and the arguements which flow through the different surahs, how the surahs are linked together in one cohesive arguement.
I've only gone through like 19 short surahs from the back & I've learnt so much.
awesome.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm still in the process of learning though.
Islam's a simple yet profound truth.
The simplest man/child can understand it yet the most inteligent one's can uncover the treasure laid within.
There is an idea of spiritual vs secular?
Well, Islam is a deen, which is kinda a way of life, so it actually encompasses your whole life.
You whole life would be revolving aroung this deen(way of life)
and there wouldn't be a distinction of spiritual or secular, to oneself at least.
-------
& Islam is supposedly given down to us to remove one's difficulty.
not make Life harder for us.
I can see how this works.
One is suppose to place his utmost trust in the Creator and know that whatever happens is only for the betterment of oneself.
As whatever Allah wills for you is the best for yourself even though you may not see the wisdom behind it.
Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise, All-Beneficent
Actually a better way to say it is that all knowledge, wisdom, benefits come from Allah and from Allah alone.
So even how hard it is on you, if you have your trust there, you'd feel relatively at ease
The base of the deen is accepting Allah as your Creator, your master, as he created you
I mean. It's not that hard to believe that there is a supreme power out there who created everything no?
There must have been a deliberate design for the universe.
Just imagine. If the earth was just closer to the sun or futher away from it.
Just imagine. If one of the planets just go slightly off course from its orbit.
Each of the planets in our solar system hold each other together in their gravitational pull and orbit.
Thus if only one of the planets go slightly off course......
Just imagine. How complex even your own body is. in every single minute detail.
Even if scientist were to make a lung, they would need so much resources and that artificial lung would not be even functioning as well as the human lung.
We were not just created out of chance.
There must be a purpose in this existence in the world.
We were made for a purpose.
Back to the topic.
You have to acknowlege that there is a Creator, a master.
and that would make you a servant, or more bluntly put slave.
But wait.
Not the type of slave thats flashing through your head.
Humans are imperfect. However Allah's perfect, All-Beneficent and All-Merciful.
Hence, you are an honoured slave, one who actually can choose to disobey the master and yet he still can forgive you to quite an extent.
It is an honour to serve the Creator who has created you. no?
& anyway by serving your master you're only doing the best for yourself.
as what he has in store for you will be the best for yourself.
At least be grateful. He gave you everything.
The idea here is that, whatever you have now, whatever "you" have "earned"
Is all due to Allah.
All praises is to the Creator.
You were born naked and you will pass away naked.
Whatever you have right now will eventually be forgotten.
Whatever fame.money.skills.knowledge.connections. is insignificant.
This life is always temporary. but the Creator is forever.
You can put as much effort to reach your potential.
But Allah is the one to choose the results.
Hence whatever the result may be, you are actually in peace.
as you know that whatever is ordained for you is the best for you.
What you like is not always what's best for you.
Vegetables are yuck but I know they're good for me so I eat them now..to an extent. hahahaha
But human beings have limited knowledge and hence cannot see the wisdom in every rule
Ideally you should have trust in the rules set by the Creator and know that there is indeed wisdom behind it.
But usually one would still feel unsatisfied and it is always good to question and understand the wisdom behind the rules set to develop a stronger and firmer faith, even though you might not be able to find it at all, which is hardly the case.
Side note:
Allah is an arabic word for "the one & only God"
The universal God.
Everyone's God.
The word has no gender, though when writing lots of ppl like to use "He"
The word has no plural.
The word is unique by its own.
and it is used as when I use the word god, images of other stuff pop into your head such as goddesess, male god, many gods, you start to limit Allah into images.
amd one thing to make clear is Allah is infinite and perfect.
Side note:
My studies of Islam has really made my whole mindset shift and change.
though my actions may not be in line yet
It will, I hope, be as time passes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original Sin.
I'm going to comment on this.
so in my understanding of it....
It started out with Adam and Eve.
ate the forbidden fruit.
the sin was inheritted by all descendents.
and they were condemned.
God was merciful but also just.
So he wanted to forgive but also punish them
& that God was All-Loving and he sacrifised himself/ his son.
(I'm still confused about being three-in-one and still a son)
the only resolution was to sacrifise blood and that blood must combine humanity and divinity.
Jesus was the only person who has that and by believing in him, his blood will atone for the sins of humanity.
God was so loving he actually became a human being to understand how we felt and suffered.
and also sacrifised his son/ himself for the sake of humanity, giving us a chance to earn his grace by believing in Jesus.
ok.
firstly. God knows that he created human in an imperfect form, that we were capable of sin.
then why did he condemn the entire human race because of a weakness that he knew about that Adam and Eve did a sin. I thought He was All-Forgiving.
secondly. Aren't you responsible for your own actions.
Your parent's sins are not yours to begin with.
So why punish us for our forefather's deeds?
You are responsible for your actions and not for your forefathers.
Sin does not pass on to people.
Nobody can pay or carry the sin of others.
Everybody should stand on his/her own feet.
In the Quran, it says specifically that they actually prayed for forgiveness and Allah forgave them
as they realised their mistake, were sorry and prayed earnestly to Allah for forgiveness.
In the Quran it also states that the blame is put on Adam and not Eve.
The Quran does not put the first sin solely on woman.
The Quran does state that both of them had a part to play but does not blame Eve for the fall of Adam.
and that the blame was put on Adam as He's Eve's husband and he should be responsible for their actions and accountable for the consequences of their wrong doings.
Thirdly. Since Allah is All-forgiving, why does he not forgive when they have repented and futhermore refuses to forgive them untill blood is shed. Especially the blood of an innocent and great man like Prophet Jesus.
Why can't he forgive if he has the full authority to do so?
In the Quran, it states that they were actually forgiven before placed on Earth.
The Quran also states that we being here is not a punishment.
infact before Adam and Eve were created, they were destined to be placed on Earth.
An opinion of why were Adam&Eve placed in heaven first is to learn their lesson before coming to this Earth
We are not here as a punishment, far from that.
We should not have the stigma of praying for that sin.
We are here to accomplish a mission, a noble mission in which the Quran describes as the trustee of the Earth. to Serve the creations of Allah.
----
Then another question arises.
If there is no blood sacrifice, how do you make retribution for your own sins as you are still capable of sins as a human.
We do not confess one's sins to another person.
We confess to the One who has solely the power to grant forgiveness to us.
Stop doing it.
Acknowledge of what you did was wrong.
Feel sorry for it.
Make the Sincere intention to not do it again.
(This meaning try your best not to do it again sincerely)
If your doing has infringed the rights of others you must give back what was solely theirs.
------------------------------
Ok.
I'm done with ranting. =)
